Having experienced mediation both as a legal advisor and as a client, Samantha brings a rare dual perspective to the process. She understands the pressures, priorities, and emotions that parties face, and uses this insight to guide them toward constructive outcomes.

Her approach is active and engaged: she works closely with parties and their advisers to confront the key issues, assess risks, and consider the uncertainties of litigation.  Rather than acting as a passive conduit for offers, she facilitates meaningful dialogue that helps parties move beyond impasse and toward durable, commercially sensible resolutions.

Samantha is a lawyer and nationally accredited mediator with over 15 years of experience spanning corporate law, human resources, and business leadership. She established Pax Mediation, specialising in resolving complex commercial disputes and family office matters.

Samantha has worked on multimillion-dollar transactions and high-stakes negotiations. Her background includes experience in commercial law, contract law, property law, workplace disputes, human resource matters, competition law, as well as advisory roles at the intersection of corporate and private client law.

Having sat on both sides of the mediation process – as a legal advisor and as a client – Samantha brings a nuanced understanding of the pressures and priorities that parties face.  She is known for her ability to distil complex issues into clear, actionable pathways, helping parties move beyond impasse toward practical, lasting resolution.

Samantha’s career has included roles at top-tier commercial law firm Arnold Bloch Leibler, an in-house counsel position at property developer Bensons Property Group, and leadership as a business owner and director. She has worked closely with entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and family groups, including within her own family’s enterprise, Levantine Hill Estate – an award-winning winery in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, ranked No. 3 in Australia by The Real Review in 2025.

Her deep understanding of both legal frameworks and business dynamics makes her a trusted partner in mediations where relationships, reputation, and commercial outcomes matter. She is also actively involved in philanthropy, reflecting her broader commitment to community and ethical leadership.
